My husband and I thought we had it all figured out, we had happy children, healthy children, smart children, clean children, but then we realized we couldn't stop talking about ... our children.
"MOMMY!” A word that once made our hearts melt now drives us to locking ourselves in the bathroom! We live in a museum of toys and laundry, exotic strange smells, and endless artwork on the corner of every wall. Admittance may be free, but the operative costs are through the roof. Being a mother alone is challenging, and that's not including your roles outside of motherhood. My life is not a perfect fairytale, but I would love to share what has helped us through this wonderfully crazy journey!

Do's & Don'ts of Potty Training

Introducing Your Toddler to Chores
Cleaning a room ten times in one day got really old, really fast. If my children were going to make a mess-they could clean it up. It started off as just having them pick up their toys, but I was slowly amazed at what else they were capable of, and they have made my cleaning job much easier.

Praying with Your Toddler
Praying with Your Toddler

Teach Your Baby and Toddler to Read
Babies & Toddlers Beginning
to Read
My children love to
read…well pretend to anyway. But both of them know their alphabet, the sounds
of the letters, and can sign most of it. They have a great interest in books
and are very eager to begin reading them on their own.
No Mess Mealtime with Toddlers!
No Mess? With toddlers?
Bibs or no bibs, my children were still covered in mushed peas, yogurt, or whatever was on there plate. Meal time was almost like a war zone with food flying and little bodies jumping everywhere, and once it was over baths were a necessity-for the kids and the floor...and the furniture. Eating at family events became an embarrassment, and eating out in public restaurants became out of the question.Wednesday, October 23, 2013
Raising a Happy Family on Less than $20,000
Make a budget!
Don't overestimate the power of thinking ahead. Too many times did our family glance at the bank statements and incoming bills
